Lee’s Speed Shop RACING

In the approximately 10 years that Lee actively campaigned a Knucklehead drag bike in the AMRA, he set numerous National Records and won two National Championships.  Since then, Lee’s Speed Shop has had a hand in doing porting work for and sponsoring several different racing efforts, both drag and flat track.  Recently Lee finished the re-creation of a period correct 1950’s style Knuckle drag bike for nostalgia racing. Look for Lee along with his bike “The Knuckledragger” at a National Vintage Motorcycle Drag Racing Association event near you!

Below are some of the teams that Lee’s Speed Shop is currently involved with:

For vintage drag racing, “The Knuckledragger” is just the ticket.  Dual Linkert carbs feed alky o the 99” Knuck motor which is nestled in an early ‘30s VL frame along with a 2 speed trans that saw use at Santa Ana dragstrip in 1950

Lee’s early racing career involved racing Knuckles and Shovels during the infancy of “all Harley drags”

As time allows we will be posting more pictures from each of the teams shown above
